If you don't have any concrete plans for your vacation yet, or the activities already planned don't appeal to you, then we have a few tips and ideas for you:
Plan joint activities:
Organize a spontaneous trip to a nearby lake with your friends. You can have a picnic, swim, and enjoy nature together. Of course, it can also be a bit more adventurous: Go on a bike ride through the city with your friends. Maybe there's a river nearby that you can cycle along. You can spontaneously discover new places and cities and stop off at cozy cafés along the way. There are great apps that suggest tours of varying difficulty.
Explore nature:
Arrange a hike in the mountains or a walk in the forest with your family or friends. Getting some fresh air and taking a closer look at nature with all its colors, plants, and animals is a balm for the soul.
Be creative:
Take time for a creative project. You could take a sketchbook to the park and draw your surroundings, or paint a card for the next birthday child in your circle of friends and acquaintances. Also, try a DIY project, such as upcycling old furniture and clothing.
Discover new skills:
Outdoor cooking class, dance class, etc.
Many larger cities offer a fantastic and diverse cultural program, from slackline courses to outdoor cooking classes and salsa dancing classes. If you live in a larger city or have the opportunity to travel there, check out their cultural website!
Do sports:
Try a new sport you've always been interested in. Sign up for a yoga class or a surfing course, or try out a climbing course near you. Grab a friend—it's more fun together!
Relax in the countryside:
Make yourself comfortable at home, without your phone, listen to music, or read an inspiring book. Maybe someone you know has a good book recommendation? PS: A hammock is a great place to relax.
Do sports:
Try a new sport you've always been interested in. Sign up for a yoga class or a surfing course, or try out a nearby climbing course. Of course, you can also revive old sports. How long has it been since you were inline skating or playing volleyball? Grab a friend—it's more fun together!
We wish you an adventurous holiday! Perhaps one or two of these tips have given you some ideas!
